Third grade class creating a mosaic bench

A plain concrete garden bench was donated by a parent. We then cleaned it and divided it into 25 sections. Each student was assigned a section to create their own design using tumbled safe stained glass. The finished piece was a masterpiece of cooperative art that was sold to the highest bidder at the school auction.
