Mosaic bird bath bowl

A concrete bird bath finished with mosaic glass. Waterproof and weather resistant. A mosaic birdbath is a great group art project and certain to raise quite a bit of money at your fund raising auction.

Even a used birdbath is great for this project; cracks and blemishes will be filled in, covered and strengthened by the adhesive, glass and grout. Some birdbath bowls are made from a large, hard-fired plant saucer covered in mosaic glass and then placed on top of a large pot.

If you are making the birdbath as a fund raiser, be sure to ask your group is someone has one to donate.
