Mosaic Garden Shed

The first and second grade class at odyssey School created these mosaic panels in class during the Winter and then mounted them on the school garden shed during Spring planting.

The students divided into groups with each group being responsible for making a mosaic representation of fruit and vegetable crops. the students planned things and drew their design out on paper in one class session. The next session they used tumbled, recycled stained glass and ceramic tile adhesive to create the design on cementboard (Hardibacker). A couple days later they grouted the boards and they were ready for the garden.
